An opportunity has opened for an Embedded Software Engineer to join an Electronics company based in Cornwall. The ideal candidate will have a few years experience as an Embedded Software Engineer with some Electronics hardware knowledge too. The core languages used with be C and C++ and you’ll be working on ARM cortex microprocessors along with other microcontrollers.
The role offers 25 days holiday and an early finish on Fridays as well as other benefits.
Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills:
* Embedded Software – C, C++
* Excellent knowledge of microcontrollers and processors – ARM cortex ideal
* Understanding of hardware design
* Any PCB Design or DSP experience would be a bonus
* Firmware development
* MATLAB or Python would be a bonus
Embedded Software Engineer Responsibilities:
* Working with the Hardware and Software department creating designs on microcontroller systems
* Seeing projects through from start to finish
* Coding in C and C++ and providing analysis using MATLAB and Python
* Solving any software issues for clients
* Some PCB design may be on offer if these are skills you have
