TXM Recruit are working in partnership with rail client to recruit multiple experienced Welder’s to join their growing team in Milton Keynes.
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding activities in line with engineering drawings and company quality standards. You will work as part of a skilled production team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out MIG welding on a variety of steel components and assemblies.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
Inspect completed work and carry out any necessary finishing activities.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with the wider production and engineering teams.
About You:
Previous experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing, engineering or rail environment.
Minimum Level 2 qualification in welding/fabrication or engineering.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong diligence and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Main Details:
Job Title: MIG Welder
Shifts: Days or Night Shifts
Pay Rate: Permanent – up to £36,000 per annum or competitive contract day/night rates.
Contract: On going contracts
Location: Milton Keynes - MK12 5NT
Start Date: ASAP(Please note: this role requires completing and passing a medical and drug and alcohol test)
