How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their construction management career, working alongside experienced professionals on multiple live projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking business.

    The Role

    You'll assist with the coordination and delivery of several projects simultaneously, supporting Project Managers to ensure programmes, budgets and quality standards are achieved. The role offers exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle and genuine opportunities for career progression.

    Responsibilities will include:

    * Supporting the management of multiple live construction projects across a regional portfolio.

    * Assisting with planning, programming and project reporting.

    * Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.

    * Monitoring progress against programme and project milestones.

    * Supporting commercial and contractual administration.

    * Attending client, design and site meetings.

    * Promoting high standards of health, safety and quality.

    * Building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    About You

    We're keen to speak with individuals who are organised, proactive and looking to develop within a successful main contractor environment.

    You'll ideally have:

    * Previous experience supporting the delivery of construction projects.

    * Strong planning and programme management skills with the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving.

    * A construction-related qualification or equivalent industry experience.

    * Excellent communication and organisational skills.

    * A practical understanding of construction processes and site operations.

    * Current CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid certification.

    * A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across regional project locations, with occasional overnight stays where project requirements dictate.

    Working Arrangements

    The successful candidate will be based from a regional office in Suffolk when not attending project sites or client meetings. Projects are predominantly located across the East of England and neighbouring regions, offering a varied workload and regular site exposure.

    Package

    * £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.

    * Company vehicle

    * 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.

    * Ongoing professional development and career progression.

    * Supportive and collaborative working environment.

    Applications are welcomed from candidates who are available immediately or who have a standard notice period
