Responsibilities and duties of the Project Manager role
Reporting to the Project Director you will be responsible for:
Managing projects from initial planning through to successful completion.
Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and delivery schedules.
Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Managing NEC contract administration and supporting commercial activities.
Monitoring project performance, quality standards and risk management.
Building strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
Producing project reports and providing regular progress updates.
Supporting resource planning, recruitment and team development.
Promoting a positive health, safety and quality culture across all project activities.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Proven experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC3 contract administration.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation within construction.
Relevant Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to pass BPSS security clearance and Drugs & Alcohol testing.
Right to live and work in the UK.
Salary and benefits of the Project Manager role
Competitive Salary or Day Rate of up to £75,000 or £450 per day.
Full-time Monday- Friday role
Additional annual leave with length of service and Birthday leave

£65000.00 - £75000.00 per year
