Location: Hull
Salary: Up to £32,000, dependent on experience
Contract: Temporary, 3–4 months
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  
Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with our client to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant for a period of 3–4 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a busy and supportive team, taking responsibility for a varied range of transactional finance, credit control and reconciliation duties.
  
The Opportunity
  
As Temporary Finance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing sales invoices and raising credit notes
Producing weekly supplier payment runs
Managing aged debt and carrying out credit control activity
Responding to customer account queries and resolving payment issues
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Reconciling self-billing accounts and overrider payments
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Providing ad-hoc finance support to the senior management team About You
  
We are looking for someone with:

Previous experience within a finance, accounts assistant or transactional accounting role
Experience of sales invoicing, supplier payments and credit control
Confidence managing customer queries
Strong accounting software and general IT literacy
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
