Are you a Workshop Chargehand/Supervisor or similar who can read engineering drawings, looking to oversee the running of a small assembly workshop, whilst working only Monday to Thursday?
In this workshop-based role you will be supervising 3 Engineers in a workshop, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are followed. You will also manage an inventory of parts, liaise with customers and suppliers on the progress of jobs, and occasionally travel to sites to assist in installations.
Founded 20 years ago this manufacturer have received heavy investment in recent years, with plans to double their turnover in the next 2 years. They supply their niche products into the water industry and are becoming market-leaders in their field.
This role would suit somebody who has worked in a senior position in a workshop environment, looking to work for a growing company offering an excellent work-life balance.
The Role:
Overseeing 3 Engineers in a close-knit assembly workshop
Ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
Liaising with customers and suppliers over the status of jobs
Managing an inventory of parts
