How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Marketing Data Operations Lead** (Contract)

    Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

    Location: London (3 days per week on site)

    Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

    Role Overview

    As the Marketing Data Operations Lead, you will provide essential operational, technical, and data management support throughout the lifecycle of our onsite and digital marketing projects. Your expertise in data-driven planning, comprehensive project management, and analytics will be pivotal in evaluating marketing outcomes and ensuring the accuracy of business impact measurement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Data Management: Oversee the gathering, cleaning, normalisation, and maintenance of large volumes of structured and unstructured data across multiple internal systems.
    KPI Tracking & Analysis: Evaluate marketing outcomes through robust KPI tracking, business impact analysis, and shadow accounting processes.
    Reporting & Automation: Deliver end-to-end data solutions, utilising advanced Excel capabilities, database development, and reporting tools like Power BI to optimise workflows and processes.
    Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with colleagues across marketing operations, translating complex data insights into clear, actionable information for stakeholders.
    Continuous Improvement: Proactively propose improvements and support colleagues in enhancing our marketing operations with a focus on accuracy and detail.

    Skills & Experience:

    Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in PowerQuery, VBA, advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and charts.
    Programming Knowledge: Experience with SQL or Python, with a strong interest in developing technical capabilities for reporting and workflow optimisation.
    Data Management Expertise: Proven ability to handle data with high accuracy, ensuring quality controls and validation processes are in place.
    Analytical Skills: Experience in tracking and interpreting KPIs and operational performance metrics, with the ability to create insightful dashboards and presentations.
    Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical data insights into concise information for diverse audiences.
    Proactive Mindset: A collaborative team player who takes initiative and is eager to support colleagues across various marketing functions.
    Multitasking & Detail Orientation: Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality output and meeting tight deadlines.
