Key Responsibilities:
Management and coordination support for routine and reactive maintenance activities
Technical oversight of asset condition, defects, and service performance
Identification and resolution of historic or legacy asset issues
Recommendations to enhance asset performance, reliability, and lifecycle management
Support in maintaining accurate asset records and asset management information
Technical review and assurance of street lighting designs and specifications
Assessment of proposals associated with highways schemes and development projects
Professional engineering advice on street lighting standards, regulations, and industry best practices
Job Requirements:
Experience in street lighting engineering
Understanding of asset management and maintenance principles
Strong technical knowledge of street lighting operations and electrical infrastructure
Proven project management skills
Proficiency in using and administering specialist street lighting and asset management systems
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Contract Details:
This contract is set to commence on 1st September 2026 and will run until 31st August 2027, with a potential extension period of up to 6 months if required.
