Summary of the Sales Engineer/Estimator role
Salary: £30,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am-4.30pm if not working Friday.
If working the Friay shift the hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday - Thursday
1 in 4 Fridays
Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer/Estimator
Manage and interpret both new and existing customer requirements
Respond to technical sales enquiries
Produce accurate quotes and prepare tenders, proposals, designs and technical documents – this will involve looking at technical drawings.
Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education
Build and promote strong customer relationships
Offer after-sales service
Receive and accurately log customer sales enquiries
Progress customer orders to completion and notify customers with any changes.
Requirements for a successful Sales Engineer/Estimator
Experience working a similar role
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
