Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week (Sunday – Thursday | Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Salary: £24.02 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Chargehand / PSV Chargehand / Senior HGV Technician

Supervise and support engineering staff throughout the night shift.
Allocate planned and reactive maintenance work across the workshop.
Diagnose, service and repair PSV vehicles to the highest standards.
Carry out fault finding and ensure vehicles are safe, compliant and roadworthy.
Monitor vehicle defect reporting and workshop documentation.
Liaise with Operations to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise fleet availability.
Support the Workshop Manager and Engineering Management Team when required.What You'll Need as a HGV Chargehand / PSV Chargehand / Senior HGV Technician

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle or PSV Maintenance.
Experience as a PSV Technician, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
Previous Chargehand, Team Leader or supervisory experience is desirable.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence desirable or support available to obtain one).
