PIP Functional Assessor
£40,000 - £42,000 basic salary
£1,000 retention bonus after 6 months (subject to performance)
£1,000 retention bonus after 12 months (subject to performance) WCA Functional Assessor
£42,000 - £43,000 basic salary
£1,000 retention bonus after 12 months (subject to performance) Additional Rewards
One-off 5% quality bonus after successfully completing training
£2,000 payment when you begin carrying out face-to-face assessments (typically within your first six months)
Quarterly performance bonus after 12 months, with the opportunity to earn up to 2.5% per quarter

The Role As a Disability Assessor / Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise to assess how a person's health condition affects their day-to-day life and functional ability.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting telephone, video and face-to-face assessments
Reviewing medical evidence and supporting documentation
Assessing the impact of physical and mental health conditions on daily living
Producing accurate, evidence-based reports
Applying clinical judgement in line with DWP guidance and quality standards This is an assessment role rather than a treatment role, giving you the opportunity to use your clinical knowledge in a different setting while continuing to make a positive impact.
What We're Looking For You'll need:
Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
Minimum of one year's post-registration experience
Adult clinical experience
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Good IT skills We welcome applications from:
