How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Employability Tutor
    Location: Grangemouth & Glasgow
    Start Date: 17th August 2026
    Duration: 1 Week in Grangemouth, 3 Weeks in Glasgow
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm
    Contract Type: Sessional (potential for ongoing work)
      
    About the Role
    Trigon Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading National Training Provider, rated Good (Grade 2) by Ofsted.
    We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Employability Tutor to deliver a two-week employability programme in Grangemouth & Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate trainer who enjoys helping people build the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed to secure sustainable employment.
    You will deliver engaging workshops and provide tailored one-to-one support, helping learners improve their employability skills, digital confidence, customer service and readiness for the workplace.
    Key Responsibilities

    Deliver engaging non-accredited employability and digital skills training to groups of learners.
    Provide basic IT support, including setting up email accounts, using attachments, navigating online job search platforms, and completing online applications.
    Support learners with CV writing, cover letters, job applications, and interview preparation.
    Encourage and motivate learners to actively seek and apply for employment opportunities.
    Deliver a combination of group workshops and individual 1:1 coaching sessions to support learner progression.
    Set realistic learner goals and monitor progress throughout the programme using the company database.
    Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages confidence and participation.
    Complete all learner records and administrative documentation accurately and within required timescales. Skills & Experience Required

    Previous experience delivering employability, adult learning, or vocational training.
    Strong IT skills with confidence in teaching basic digital skills.
    Experience supporting individuals with CV writing, job searching, and interview preparation.
    Ability to engage learners with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.
    Comfortable delivering both group training sessions and one-to-one coaching.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Well organised, with the ability to manage learner progress effectively.
    A genuine passion for supporting people into employment and achieving positive outcomes.
    Availability to commit to the full programme commencing 17th August. What's in it for You?
