How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation that is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its collaborative HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a broad generalist role where you will partner with senior leaders, influence people strategy, and lead talent acquisition across multiple sites.

    HR Business Partner – About the Role

    Reporting into the senior People team, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, providing expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle. Alongside supporting a designated business area, you will take the lead on talent acquisition and recruitment strategy, ensuring the organisation continues to attract and retain exceptional people.

    This is a varied role combining strategic business partnering with hands-on HR delivery, where you'll work closely with leadership teams to drive engagement, succession planning, workforce development and continuous improvement across the People function.

    HR Business Partner – Responsibilities

    * Partner with managers and senior leaders to deliver proactive, commercially focused HR advice across employee relations, performance, organisational change, wellbeing, reward and workforce planning.

    * Lead talent acquisition and recruitment activity, developing innovative attraction strategies, managing recruitment campaigns and building strong relationships with agencies and external partners.

    * Support the development of talent, succession planning, performance management and learning initiatives to build organisational capability.

    * Use HR data, recruitment metrics and workforce insights to influence decision making, identify trends and recommend improvements.

    * Ensure robust HR policies, compliance processes and safeguarding standards are consistently applied, while supporting continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.

    * Champion inclusion, employee engagement and a positive workplace culture while contributing to wider People projects and strategic initiatives.

    People Partner – Skills & Experience

    * Previous experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role with broad generalist HR expertise.

    * CIPD qualified or working towards qualification, or equivalent practical experience.

    * Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, talent acquisition, organisational development and HR best practice.

    * Demonstrable experience leading recruitment strategies, sourcing specialist talent and improving attraction and retention initiatives.

    * Experience using data and people insights to influence decision making and drive continuous improvement.

    * Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

    * A proactive, collaborative approach with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
