Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Sales Advisor to join their team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual to deliver outstanding service while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy branch, with full training provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet and assist both trade and retail customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Build strong customer relationships and recommend suitable products for individual projects.
Provide expert product advice and support to customers.
Process customer orders accurately using the company computer system.
Communicate with customers via telephone and email.
Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure branch documentation is organised.
Receive, check and process customer orders and incoming deliveries.
Keep the branch and warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.
Merchandise new products and maintain attractive product displays.
Ensure stock is stored safely and efficiently.
Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and report any concerns.
Support the wider branch team to achieve excellent customer service and sales performance.
Promote additional products and maximise sales opportunities where appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications:

No previous experience required – full training will be provided.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software.
Willingness to develop product knowledge and sales skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Professional, reliable and committed to delivering high standards.
Awareness of Health and Safety responsibilities in the workplace.
