Banksman

Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman / Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction project in Widnes. Working for a reputable contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, plant, and personnel around site while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely guide and direct site traffic, delivery vehicles, and mobile plant.

* Maintain clear communication with drivers and plant operators using recognised hand signals and/or radio communication.

* Ensure pedestrian and vehicle segregation is maintained at all times.

* Coordinate site deliveries and manage access and egress points.

* Assist with site logistics and support the site management team.

* Monitor site traffic movements and report any hazards or safety concerns.

* Ensure all work is carried out in line with site health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

* Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification.

* Valid CSCS Card.

* Previous experience working as a Banksman on construction or civil engineering projects.

* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to site safety.

* Full PPE.

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
