Supply Teacher – Primary Schools – Barnet

Location: Barnet and surrounding North London areas
Pay: £150–£180 per day
Pay Options: PAYE or Umbrella
Contract: Ad hoc supply, daily cover, short-term assignments and flexible work
Start Date: Ongoing

Enrich Education Recruitment is seeking qualified primary teachers for flexible supply work across a growing network of primary schools throughout Barnet.

We work with schools across areas including Finchley, Mill Hill, Hendon, Edgware, Colindale, Burnt Oak, High Barnet and surrounding locations.

This opportunity is ideal for teachers looking for flexibility, local work and the chance to gain experience across a variety of school settings without committing to a permanent position.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will step into the classroom confidently and provide pupils with a positive, structured and productive school day.

Your responsibilities may include:

Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

*

Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies

*

Creating a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment

*

Marking work where required and providing clear handover notes

*

Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND and EAL

*

Working professionally with teaching assistants, phase leaders and school staff

*

Following safeguarding procedures and maintaining high professional standards

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for reliable, professional and adaptable teachers who are confident working across different primary school environments.

Applicants must have:

Qualified Teacher Status — QTS

*

Experience teaching in UK primary schools

*

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

*

Good knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum

*

The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff

*

A flexible and professional approach

*

A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

*

An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new DBS
