Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Employment Partner or Legal Director to join our expanding Practice in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Employment lawyer looking to take the next step in their career with a progressive and client-focused law firm. We are looking for an individual who can contribute strategically to the growth of our Employment team while delivering exceptional advice and service to a diverse client base.
The Role:
You will take the lead to grow and help develop the Employment team in Nottingham, playing a key role in business development, client relationship management and the continued growth of the firm's employment offering.
Your role will also be advising employers and senior executives on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters including:
* Employment contracts and service agreements
* Policies, procedures and HR support
* Disciplinary and grievance matters
* Redundancies and restructuring projects
* TUPE and business transfers
* Employment Tribunal litigation
* Settlement agreements
* Discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal claims
* Senior executive exits and boardroom disputes
About You:
The successful Candidate will:
* Be a qualified Solicitor with substantial employment law experience
* Currently operate at Partner or Legal Director level
* Demonstrate strong technical expertise across all areas of employment law
* Have a proven track record of business development and client relationship management
* Possess excellent commercial awareness and leadership skills
* Be able to identify and develop new opportunities for the firm
* Ideally have a following or portable client relationships, although this is not essential for the right candidate
