How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) needed in Langwith

    Duration: Temporary
    Academics: Education Agency

    Do you want the chance to lead classes of young students within Primary Education across Langwith and surrounding areas?

    If you have recently completed a BA Hons Degree in Education Studies or you hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification (Cache / NVQ Level 4) then we want to hear from you.

    This post is extremely rewarding as you educate the pupils in your care and take the driving seat by leading their learning development.

    This type of role requires confidence, knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum, the ability to maintain engagement from pupils and creative methods to keep pupils on course.

    In return for working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with Academics, you will be offered:

    - High rates of pay (inclusive of holiday pay and paid through PAYE, dependent on experience)

    What do we need from you to work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)?

    - Evidence of your highest academic / training achievement (BA Hons Degree in Education Studies/ Cache / NVQ Level 4 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
    - References to cover you most recent employment (perferrably as a Higher Level Teachign Assistant)
    - A positive attitude
    - Flexibility with your working timetable
    - Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate
    - The ability to commute across Langwith
