Management Accountant

A well-established and growing professional services firm is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its expanding outsourcing team. Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Managing a portfolio of UK and international clients
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
Performing balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting clients with accounting software queries
Working with a variety of accounting systems, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics and SAP
Liaising directly with clients and building long-term relationships
Supporting process improvements and efficiencies within client finance functionsWhat you'll need to succeed

Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge
Previous experience preparing management accounts
Experience completing VAT returns
Confident undertaking balance sheet reconciliations
Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Experience gained within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment would be advantageous.What you'll get in return
