How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Recognised in the Legal 500 and the Client's Guide to the Best Law Firms, the award-winning department has built an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional client care and achieving excellent results.

Most recently, Partner Richard Teare was awarded Personal Injury Law Expert of the Year (England).

As the department continues to grow, we're looking for a talented individual to help us build on our success.

    The Role

Based primarily in our Lincoln office, you will manage your own varied caseload of Employer Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident claims across fast-track and intermediate-track matters, while also assisting on multi-track cases.

Joining a collaborative, approachable team that is passionate about delivering outstanding client service. We actively encourage business development, marketing initiatives and professional growth, giving you the opportunity to shape your career in a progressive and supportive environment.

Following successful completion of your probationary period, you'll also benefit from hybrid working, with flexibility to work from home part of the week.

    Key Responsibilities

    - Manage a busy caseload of claimant personal injury matters.

    - Progress cases efficiently while providing exceptional client care.

    - Keep clients informed throughout their claims, including costs and progress.

    - Achieve individual performance targets.

    - Support colleagues and contribute to team objectives.

    - Assist with mentoring and developing junior team members.

    - Participate in networking, marketing and business development activities.

    - Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, experts and external organisations.

    - Ensure compliance with confidentiality, regulatory and firm procedures.

    The Ideal Candidate

    Will be someone who is:

    - A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or possesses equivalent Personal Injury legal experience.

    - Ideally 2–5 years' PQE within a claimant Personal Injury team.

    - Experienced in handling EL, PL and RTA claims.

    - Commercially aware with excellent client care skills.

    - Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.

    - A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.

    - IT literate with case management system experience.

    - Enthusiastic about business development and contributing to the continued success of the department.

    Benefits:

Joining a firm that genuinely invests in its people, offering a supportive culture where your development is encouraged and your achievements are recognised.

    - Competitive salary (dependent on experience)

    - Performance bonus scheme

    - 25 days' annual leave

    - Flexible and hybrid working

    - Annual holiday buy and sell scheme

    - Staff discount

    - Employee benefits platform

    - Life assurance

    - Ongoing training and career development

    - Opportunity to work within an award-winning Legal 500-ranked Personal Injury team
