My client is looking for a compassionate, driven, and client-focused professional to join our thriving Wills & Probate Department in Lincoln. The Role
You will manage a varied caseload while providing exceptional advice and support to clients on a range of Private Client matters, including:
- Wills
- Probate and Estate Administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Deputyship applications to the Court of Protection
Experience with Trusts would be advantageous, and you will be fully supported for your progression towards achieving your STEP qualification.
Working closely with the Head of Department and wider team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding client care while contributing to the continued success and growth of the department.
Responsibilities include: -
- Managing your own caseload of Wills & Probate matters
- Delivering an exceptional client experience with empathy, professionalism and clear communication
- Keeping clients informed throughout every stage of their matter
- Supporting the promotion of the firm's Private Client services
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
- Maintaining high standards of compliance, confidentiality and quality
- Supporting departmental administration and contributing to team success
- Working towards agreed billing and performance targets
- Continuing your professional development with full support from the firm
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with outstanding people skills.
You will have:
- Experience in Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Deputyship applications
- Knowledge of Trusts (desirable)
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
- A compassionate, empathetic approach when supporting bereaved or vulnerable clients
- A professional, confident and approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using case management systems (desirable, but training will be provided)
- A willingness to study towards STEP qualification (fully supported)
