How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We're supporting an innovative technology company operating in the defence, space and transportation sectors, currently going through a period of strong growth. Carrying out data analysis of precision manufactured parts to support concept and prototype development, determining pass/fail/rework decisions.
Carrying out rework, modifications and reporting in line with approved work instructions, in support of development and NPI projects.
Driving the development and creation of manufacturing standards and associated documentation.
Managing quality systems in support of the Corporate and Internal Quality Management System, including change control (PCR, DCR, concessions, mod levels, SwBRT), non-conformance handling and software release.
Planning and conducting internal audits (ISO9001, ISO27001) and managing KPIs and PIs.
Presenting metrics, project progress and improvement proposals at all levels of the business.
Engaging in key Product and Process projects to drive a Lean Quality Manufacturing culture.
The ideal candidate will a selection of the below:

Strong attention to detail and awareness of Health & Safety practices.

Knowledge of legislative standards including RoHS, REACH and SCIP.
Proven experience with RCCA and problem-solving tools such as 8D methodology and FMEA.
Experience with statistical data analysis and tools such as Minitab or JMP.
Strong practical, hands-on skills, with the ability to understand and implement processes.
Confident interpreting engineering proposals and liaising across disciplines.
Comfortable working efficiently with minimal supervision, while contributing ideas to improve process times, quality and yield.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or MES systems for data entry.
