How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

At MSV Housing, we're committed to making sure our customers have safe, high-quality homes, and our ICT Business Partners are key to making this happen. We are looking to recruit an experienced ICT professional with strong stakeholder engagement, business analysis and problem-solving skills to join our established team. Reporting to the ICT Business Partner Manager, our ICT Business Partners provide expert support and partnership working to align technology, systems and processes with business needs across our Homes services, driving continuous improvement, successful project delivery and enhanced customer outcomes. In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.

    What do our ICT Business Partners do;

Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the delivery of digital and system enhancement plans.

Support the implementation, administration, testing and continuous improvement of housing management systems, mobile applications and other core business systems.

Assist in the delivery of ICT and business change projects, ensuring solutions are implemented within agreed scope, timescales and quality standards.

Work collaboratively with ICT teams to resolve system issues, apply upgrades and patches, maintain system performance, and minimise disruption to services.

Ensure compliance with data protection, security and governance requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and promoting continuous service improvement principles.

    What we are looking for;

We're looking for an experienced ICT professional who can build strong partnerships across the business and help drive system and process improvements. You'll have a proven ability to support and enhance business applications, deliver change initiatives, and provide excellent customer service. Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills are essential, alongside a proactive approach to continuous improvement and a passion for delivering technology solutions that improve outcomes for customers and colleagues.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

Experience supporting, administering, or implementing ICT systems and business applications.

Experience delivering ICT projects, system improvements, or business change initiatives.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and understand business requirements.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, supported by a high level of IT literacy.

The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to providing an excellent user experience.

Experience working collaboratively as part of a team while contributing ideas for continuous improvement and innovation.

A commitment to data security, confidentiality, equality, diversity, and delivering services in line with organisational values.

We're committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all colleagues to share this commitment. As this job is based within our property care team where you’ll be entering the homes of our customers, a basic criminal records background check (free of charge to you) is required. A criminal conviction does not necessarily stop you from working with us. All decisions regarding convictions will be made on a case-by-case basis. Further detail on our commitment to safeguarding young people can be found in our Safeguarding policy attached alongside this vacancy’s candidate pack.

We offer a range of great benefits including:

Flexibility on where you work with home working kit provided

33 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, and a holiday a buy scheme

Company pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions

Company funded access to a health cash plan, where you can claim back costs of everyday health treatments such as optical, dental and much more

Enhanced sick pay with up to 3 months full pay and 3 months half pay

Health and Wellbeing Support including an employee assistance programme, free counselling, mental health first aiders and numerous wellbeing initiatives

Life assurance subject to being a member of our company pension scheme

Learning and development to support you to develop the skills you need to fulfil your role and progress in your career

Commitment to Equality and Inclusion with employee network groups covering anti-racism, LGBTQ+, disability and long-term health conditions, carers, and menopause

MSV are committed to Equality and Inclusion all applications are scored against the essential criteria of the role; however, we encourage candidates to submit an ammonised CV if they can do so.

MSV are also committed to supporting you to balance work and life, including with any caring or parental responsibilities you might have, and have a range of flexible working options and wellbeing support available to all colleagues to facilitate this.

For more information about the role please visit our careers page where you will find a candidate pack and apply for the role.

If you wish to discuss the roles informally, please contact John Paul Petryczuk, Head of ICT -

Interviews are scheduled to take on Friday 18th September however interviews may be carried out throughout the recruitment process and the role closed if a suitable candidate is found. Therefore, we strongly recommend candidates to apply early.
