Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their skilled production team at their modern manufacturing facility in Somerset.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble a wide variety of bespoke products
Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate production.
Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to deliver projects to a high standard.
Produce high-quality fabricated and welded components in line with customer specifications.
Operate workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
Contribute to a positive and productive workshop environment.
Develop skills in advanced manufacturing technologies, including robotic welding and tube bending equipment where required.
About You
Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder within a fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
Ability to confidently work from fabrication drawings.
Strong welding and fabrication skills with a commitment to quality.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Good planning and organisational skills.
Flexible approach with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
Reliable, punctual, and driven to deliver high standards.
Experience operating tube bending machinery and robotic welding systems would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ideally hold an Apprenticeship, Level 3 BTEC, or equivalent qualification in Welding and Fabrication.
