Key Responsibilities:
You'll play an important role in ensuring the property is maintained to a high standard by:
Carrying out general repairs including furniture, painting, decorating, basic carpentry, plumbing, and replacing lightbulbs
Completing routine inspections across guest rooms and public areas to identify preventative Maintenance requirements
Responding promptly to maintenance requests while minimising disruption to guests and colleagues
Following health and safety procedures, maintaining tidy work areas, and accurately recording completed repairs
What we're looking for:
To be successful as a Maintenance Assistant, you'll have:
Previous experience within Hotel maintenance or a similar hospitality environment
Good practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general DIY
A positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
The ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and escalate larger maintenance issues when required
Previous hands-on experience in building maintenance or hospitality
