How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

FIND Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading training provider to hire a development coach to support learners undertaking Data Analyst (L4) and Intelligence Analyst (L4) Apprenticeship standards.

This is a home based role with 2/3 days on site working in Bedford every 3 months.

    The Role

As an Intelligence/Data Analyst Coach, you'll help apprentices build confidence, capability and progress throughout their apprenticeship journey. You'll deliver high-quality coaching, training, assessment and feedback, supporting learners from initial assessment through to Gateway preparation and successful completion. In your first six months, your biggest impact will be building strong learner relationships, using technology effectively, and keeping apprentices on track against their target achievement dates. This is an opportunity to combine intelligence industry expertise with meaningful coaching, helping learners apply their skills in real workplace contexts.

    What You'll Own

Coach and mentor apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for their apprenticeship, providing timely, constructive and professional feedback.
Deliver robust initial assessments, progress reviews and Gateway preparation, ensuring apprentices have a clear, individualised learning journey.
Use technology, e-portfolio, MIS and online learning systems to support effective delivery, accurate records and timely learner progress.
Maintain strong working relationships with apprentices, military or civilian line managers, customers, business partners and Pearson colleagues to support positive learner outcomes.
Monitor progress against target achievement dates, promptly identifying risks, absences or support needs and escalating where needed.
Contribute to quality standards through accurate assessment decisions, internal quality assurance expectations, CPD, standardisation and team meetings. About You

You bring strong intelligence industry knowledge and a passion for helping apprentices grow. You are organised, learner-focused and confident working independently in a target-driven environment, while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to raise the standard of delivery.

Military experience and excellent working knowledge of the intelligence industry
Relevant training, teaching or assessor qualification, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent capability.
Strong communication, coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and set meaningful objectives.
Good IT skills and confidence using technology to support effective and efficient learning delivery.
Ability to manage your own time while working remotely and maintaining accurate learner records.
Ability to complete an enhanced DBS check and hold UK SC clearance. It Would Be Great If You Also Have

Experience of Ofsted inspection, DfE funding requirements or apprentice programme management.
A record of consistently strong trainer/assessor observations through OTLA or standardisation activity.
Completion of the OPMI/OPTI course at Chicksands.
Working knowledge of the Level 4 Data Analyst or Intelligence Analyst apprenticeship standards. What You'll Get

The opportunity to make a direct difference to apprentices as they build professional confidence and progress towards successful completion.
A role where your intelligence industry expertise is valued and translated into meaningful learning outcomes.
A supportive environment with opportunity to contribute to quality improvement, learner success and strong customer relationships.
Continued professional development through CPD, team meetings and standardisation activity.
A remote working approach with flexibility to manage your caseload, alongside virtual or site-based learner visits when required
