How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a CNC Programmer/Miller or similar looking to build a long-term career inside of an established high precision manufacturing company who supply into a range of sectors such as defence and aerospace?

    On offer, is the opportunity for a CNC Programmer/Miller or similar to join a well-established engineering company who provide into a variety of industries such as defence and aerospace. Founded nearly 70 years ago, this company has shown that they can maintain long-term growth, looking to add a CNC Programmer/Miller or similar to continue to support the company with producing high-quality products for the long-term future.

    In this role, the successful CNC Programmer/Miller or similar will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, with full training provided to transition your skills into offline CAD/CAM programming, working with tight tolerances of 0.1mm all forms of material, such as engineering plastics like nylon and stainless steel., whilst also being responsible for programming and running jobs upon customer request.

    The ideal CNC Programmer/Miller will have a solid background as a programmer on Siemens, being fully fledged and competent in this field. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop their online and offline CAD/CAM skills, wanting to increase their skill level in this area.
