How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Support manufacturing teams by responding to operational queries
Help standardise and document compounding processes
Monitor stock levels of raw materials and report any shortages
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
Keep the work area clean, organised, and contamination-free
Shifts: 36 hours per week, Days – Thursday to Saturday: 7:00am – 7:00pm

    About You

    Essential:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science

    Desirable:

Experience in plastic compounding, ideally with uPVC
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Polymer Processing or Manufacturing
Forklift licence or material handling certification
Knowledge of material properties and formulation techniques
    What We’re Looking For

A proactive and reliable team player
Someone who can work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
A strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
    Why Join Us?

    Competitive Salary

Heavily discounted group discount scheme on all products
Group Perks and freebies on days out, cinema, theatre, eating in and out, mobiles phones, food shopping and most major high street retailers
Opportunity to work with a forward-thinking and supportive team.
Career development and continuous learning opportunities.
Ready for a better work-life balance?
