How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a QA Software Tester looking for a role where your work has a real impact?

    I'm looking for a detail-oriented QA Software Tester to join a growing team, helping to ensure the quality, performance and reliability of my clients software products.

    My clients solutions are designed for the flexible workspace industry and include an established networking platform that combines CRM, billing and floor space management into one powerful solution.

    The Role

    Working within the development team, you'll be responsible for planning, executing and improving software testing across products. You'll work closely with developers and product owners to ensure new features meet the highest quality standards before release.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design, write and execute functional, regression, integration and unit test cases.
    Identify, record and manage software defects through to resolution.
    Develop and maintain automated test scenarios using Selenium and Cucumber (full training provided if required).
    Collaborate with developers and product owners to define clear acceptance criteria.
    Help improve the testing processes and automation strategy.
    Test networking-related functionality within our software platform.Essential Skills

    Proven experience in software testing.
    Good understanding of software testing methodologies, including regression testing, test planning and defect management.
    Excellent attention to detail.
    Strong written communication skills.
    Ability to work independently within a remote-first environment.
    Good organisational and time management skills.Desirable Skills

    Experience with Selenium, Cucumber or Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
    Understanding of networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, VLANs, routing and firewalls.
    Experience testing SaaS or network management applications.
    Knowledge of API testing or test automation tools.What We Offer
