About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Fabricator/MIG Welders to join a busy and well-established engineering company based in Winsford, CW7.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steelwork, carrying out high-quality MIG welding, and working from engineering drawings to manufacture components to a high standard within a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* MIG welding structural steel components.
* Fabricating and assembling structural beams, columns, frames, and other steelwork.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
* Measuring, cutting, fitting, and preparing materials.
* Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely.
* Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
* Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder.
* Strong MIG welding skills.
* Experience working with structural steel and heavy fabrication.
* Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Desirable
* Relevant welding qualifications or certifications.
