Our client specialises in the design and delivery of cutting-edge cleanrooms, laboratories and advanced manufacturing environments, providing end-to-end solutions across consultancy, design, construction, commissioning and validation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing electrical design team and play a key role within a wider multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with architectural, mechanical/HVAC and process engineering specialists.
The role will involve:
* Leading electrical design projects across multiple RIBA stages
* Developing LV distribution, small power and mechanical power systems
* Designing UPS, earthing, lighting and emergency lighting solutions
* Producing designs for fire alarm, VESDA, CCTV, access control, security and data systems
* Supporting renewable energy, solar PV and facilities monitoring projects
* Creating technical scopes, schedules and design documentation
* Producing schematics in AutoCAD and coordinated layouts in Revit
The ideal candidate will have:
* Level 5+ electrical engineering qualification
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical building services design
* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Relux, DIALux, ElectricalOM and Trimble ProDesign
* Working knowledge of Revit (preferred)
* Strong understanding of BS7671, UPS systems, renewables and ATEX awareness
* Full UK driving licence
