Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Soldering Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established engineering manufacturer, producing high-quality cable and electrical assemblies.
Soldering Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
* Carrying out fine soldering to a high standard
* Assembling cable and wiring products from engineering drawings and work instructions
* Preparing cables, crimping terminals and completing wiring assemblies
* Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
* Using hand tools and small assembly equipment
* Working to production targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy
* Following company quality procedures and health & safety guidelines
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Soldering Technician Ideal Candidate:
* Previous soldering experience within an engineering, electronics or manufacturing environment
* Experience with cable assembly, wiring or harness assembly is desirable
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
* Good manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Soldering Technician Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30
* Fridays, 08:00 – 16:00
