How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Release Train Engineer (SAFe)

    £60,000 to £75,000 + Bonus + Outstanding Benefits
Hybrid - Bournemouth (2 days per week in the office)

Are you an experienced Release Train Engineer, or a Senior Scrum Master who has coordinated multiple Agile teams and is ready for the next step?

This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's most established SAFe environments, where you'll help multiple Agile teams deliver together, develop Scrum Masters and play a key role in continuously improving Agile delivery across a large technology portfolio.

Working alongside Product Managers, Architects, Engineering teams and senior business stakeholders, you'll bring people together, remove delivery obstacles and help teams deliver better, faster and with greater predictability.

    The role

You'll coordinate delivery across a large portfolio, supporting between 15 and 20 Agile teams and leading up to 10 Scrum Masters.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Facilitating PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, System Demos and other key scaled Agile events.
    * Coaching Scrum Masters, leaders and Agile teams to improve capability and Agile maturity.
    * Managing cross-team dependencies, risks and impediments to keep delivery on track.
    * Improving the flow of work by removing bottlenecks and driving continuous improvement.
    * Supporting the ongoing evolution of Agile ways of working across the technology function.
    * Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure priorities, objectives and delivery remain aligned.

    What you'll bring

You'll have experience as a Release Train Engineer, or significant experience coordinating multiple Agile teams within a SAFe environment as a Senior Scrum Master.

    You'll also bring:

    * SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification or another current SAFe qualification.
    * Experience facilitating PI Planning and other scaled Agile events.
    * Proven coaching and people leadership experience, with the ability to develop Scrum Masters and Agile teams.
    * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
    * A collaborative, servant leadership approach and a passion for continuous improvement.

    What's in it for you?

You'll join a business with a mature Agile environment where you'll have the opportunity to influence delivery at scale, develop others and continue growing your own career.
