We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a team delivering high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance services. You will be responsible for driving productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of repairs operatives.
Manage productivity, quality, and performance through inspections and site visits.
Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complex service issues.
Conduct inspections, audits, and health & safety checks.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and complaints, implementing corrective actions where required.
Promote safeguarding and ensure concerns are properly reported.
Requirements:
Experience managing operational teams within repairs, maintenance, or construction.
Strong knowledge of building maintenance and health & safety legislation.
Experience managing subcontractors and service delivery performance.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Experience using repairs management systems and performance data.
Desirable:
Social housing or property maintenance experience.
IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
