How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join a business that's investing heavily in its marketing capability, systems and customer experience.

You'd be joining a growing international manufacturing business based near Hull. You'll need to be happy in this type of environment and capable of building strong relationships with everyone from senior leader ship through to Production & Operations.

    Client Details

This isn't a highly structured corporate environment where every process already exists. It's a business in the middle of a genuine transformation.

There are systems to build, opportunities to unlock and plenty of untapped potential. You'll have the chance to shape how marketing operates, influence senior decision-making and create something that delivers long-term commercial impact.

If you're motivated by ownership, autonomy and the opportunity to leave something better than you found it, you'll feel right at home here.

    Description

You'll take ownership of the marketing function, leading both strategy and execution across a range of channels and initiatives.

    This will include:

Leading and developing a small marketing team
Shaping and delivering marketing strategy aligned to commercial goals
Driving lead generation, customer acquisition and customer retention activity
Maximising the potential of a recently implemented CRM platform
Building customer journeys, segmentation and marketing automation programmes
Overseeing website performance, optimisation and user experience
Using data, analytics and insight to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI
Working closely with sales, product and operational stakeholders across the business
Managing agency relationships and external digital partners
Bringing structure, process and measurable outcomes to marketing activityProfile

We're less interested in finding someone from a specific industry and more interested in finding someone who's successfully built and improved marketing functions before.

    You'll probably have:

Significant experience in a senior marketing position
Strong knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, website management and analytics
Experience delivering successful multi-channel lead generation campaigns
A commercial mindset and a clear understanding of how marketing contributes to revenue growth
The confidence to challenge, influence and build relationships at all levelsMost importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys rolling your sleeves up, figuring things out and making things happen.

    Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000
