How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

If you're an experienced Production Manager, Workshop Controller or Bodyshop Supervisor looking for your next challenge, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected and expanding accident repair group with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and employee development.

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Bodyshop Manager, leading a skilled team of technicians and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest manufacturer standards in a fast-paced, modern working environment.

You'll provide technical leadership, support the development of your team and ensure operational efficiency across every stage of the repair process.

    Your Responsibilities

Support the daily operation of the bodyshop to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality targets are achieved.
Manage workshop operations in the absence of the Bodyshop Manager.
Provide technical guidance on panel repairs, refinishing, welding, structural repairs and vehicle alignments.
Carry out quality inspections to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
Assist with ordering parts, reviewing job packs and coordinating workshop administration.
Mentor, coach and develop technicians to improve performance, efficiency and teamwork.
Monitor workloads, track repair progress and ensure vehicles are completed on time.
Manage stock levels and ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained.
Promote and maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment while ensuring health and safety compliance.
    What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Production Manager, Workshop Controller, Bodyshop Supervisor or similar leadership role within an accident repair centre.
Strong technical background in vehicle body repair with excellent knowledge of structural and mechanical repairs.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
Good understanding of health and safety legislation within a bodyshop environment.
    Full UK Driving Licence.
