How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

    Location: Bond Street, London
    Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
    Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

    We are looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join our engineering team at a prestigious commercial site in the heart of Bond Street, London.     The Role

    As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and associated electrical building services, ensuring the site is maintained to the highest standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

    * Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical building services equipment.

    * Perform basic electrical maintenance where required.

    * Maintain HVAC systems, pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, FCUs and associated plant.

    * Conduct routine inspections and ensure statutory compliance.

    * Liaise with clients and contractors professionally.

    * Accurately complete maintenance records using a CAFM system.

    * Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

    About You

    We're looking for someone who has:

    * A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).

    * Previous experience working within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.

    * Good all-round maintenance knowledge with a strong mechanical bias.

    * Basic electrical fault-finding skills.

    * Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    * A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
