How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Hexagon Group are excited to be partnering with a niche, privately owned property consultancy that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering a highly personalised property management service across Central London. As a result of continued growth, they are now seeking a Facilities Manager to join their close-knit team, taking responsibility for a varied mixed-use portfolio of commercial, retail and residential assets. In addition to excellent long-term career prospects, you will be rewarded with a salary between £45,000 - £47,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager or Junior Facilities Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career, joining a business where you will receive ongoing support, exposure to high-quality assets, and genuine opportunities for professional development.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your portfolio, carrying out regular property inspections and ensuring each asset is maintained to the highest standard. Working closely with tenants, clients, and contractors, you will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, manage health and safety compliance, ensure all statutory obligations are met, and assist with the preparation and management of service charge budgets.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within commercial property or mixed-use facilities management, along with a good understanding of statutory compliance, health and safety legislation and service charge budgets. An IOSH qualification would be advantageous, although not essential. This role would suit an ambitious Assistant Facilities Manager or Junior Facilities Manager who is eager to progress into a broader portfolio management position within a respected and growing consultancy. Equally, if you are currently a Facilities Manager, but simply looking for a new challenge, our client would still be keen to hear from you.

Please apply with a copy of your CV, and one of our consultants will be in touch
