How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Firm

This successful, family-run law firm combines traditional values with ambitious growth plans. Known for its personable approach and commitment to exceptional client care, the firm has built an outstanding reputation across the region and continues to grow year after year.

People are at the heart of the business. Employees are encouraged to develop their skills, contribute ideas and build rewarding, long-term careers in a supportive environment where teamwork and professionalism are genuinely valued.

If you're looking to join a business where client satisfaction is the top priority and your contribution makes a real difference, this could be the perfect opportunity.

    The Role

As a Client Services Assistant, you'll be one of the first people clients speak to when contacting the firm. You'll provide a warm, professional welcome, answer initial enquiries and guide prospective clients through the early stages of their legal journey.

Working closely with the Client Services Manager and legal departments, you'll help ensure enquiries are handled efficiently, onboarding runs smoothly and clients receive excellent communication throughout the process.

Initially, your focus will be supporting the Conveyancing department, although the role offers the opportunity to gain wider exposure across other legal services as you develop.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, administration and relationship building within a professional environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Your day-to-day duties will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for new client enquiries, providing a professional and welcoming service.

Responding to enquiries relating to residential conveyancing matters.

    Preparing and issuing client quotations.

Providing initial guidance and information to prospective clients.

Supporting clients throughout the onboarding process.

Processing new client documentation accurately and efficiently.

Liaising closely with legal teams to ensure a seamless handover once instructions are received.

Recording and maintaining accurate information within the firm's case management system.

Following up with prospective clients to provide updates and answer questions.

Identifying opportunities to improve the client onboarding journey.

Building strong relationships with referrers, estate agents, brokers and other third-party contacts.

Providing regular communication and updates to business partners.

    Supporting wider client engagement initiatives.

Assisting with general administrative duties across the Client Services department.

Maintaining high standards of client care and professionalism at all times.

    About You

The firm is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You'll be someone who remains calm under pressure, communicates confidently and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.

    The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

A confident and friendly telephone manner.

    Strong written communication skills.

Excellent organisational abilities with strong attention to detail.

    A proactive and positive attitude.

The ability to prioritise a varied workload.

    A professional and approachable manner.

    Strong administration skills.

Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications.

Experience using case management systems (desirable but not essential).

A willingness to learn new systems and processes.

A collaborative approach with the ability to work well within a team.

A genuine passion for delivering outstanding client service.

Previous experience within legal services, conveyancing, estate agency, customer service or professional services would be beneficial but is not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

    Why Join?

This is far more than a standard administration role. You'll become an important part of a growing business where client experience is central to everything the firm does.

You'll have the opportunity to develop valuable knowledge of the legal sector while working alongside experienced professionals who are committed to supporting your development.

The firm offers a friendly and collaborative working culture where ideas are welcomed, achievements are recognised and career progression is actively encouraged.

Whether you're looking to build a long-term career within legal services or simply want to join a business that values excellent customer service, this role offers genuine opportunities for growth.
