Godalming Area | £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary | Monday to Friday
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a well-established independent specialist garage in the Godalming area.
This is a varied role that combines traditional Service Advisor duties with light workshop coordination responsibilities. Working alongside another Service Advisor, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop while delivering outstanding customer service.
The Role
* Managing customer bookings and service enquiries
* Providing updates to customers throughout the repair process
* Preparing estimates and invoices
* Liaising with technicians and monitoring workshop progress
* Supporting workshop scheduling and workflow management
* Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and customers receive a first-class experience
This is not a productive workshop controller position, but candidates with some workshop control or workshop coordination experience will be at a distinct advantage.
About You
* Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is essential
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
* Knowledge of workshop operations and job flow
* Workshop control experience would be beneficial but is not essential
* A positive, team-focused approach
What's On Offer?
* £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
* Monday to Friday working hours only (8:00am - 5:30pm)
