How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Integrated Case Management are currently recruiting for a part-time, term time Support Worker to work alongside our client in their own home.

    Shift Patterns and Contracted Hours Per Week:

    This is a split shift offering wrap around care Monday to Friday Term Time, with flexibility to offer support in the school holidays:

    * 0700 – 0900 including school drop off

    * 1430 – 1700 including school pick up

    * 22.5 hours per week

    The Successful Candidate:

    We offer a funded DBS, a competitive salary of £16.00 per hour, and fully funded mandatory training.

    The Role:

    This role is working with a 7-year-old boy, helping them to get off to a good start to the day by supporting their morning routine and helping them to get washed and dressed for school. You will need to make sure that they have their breakfast and pack their school bag if needed, drop them off at school and make sure they get safely into the school.

    You will also need to collect them from school and make sure they have any school work or messages for home that they need. They may need a snack when they get home. They like to play and relax when they get home, and they may have some homework that they need support with.

    About You:

    * This role will suit someone who has an energetic and enthusiastic approach to work and is ideal for someone looking to start their career in care and develop new skills.

    * You will be kind, positive, reliable with good timekeeping. Have a sense of humour and be fun.

    * You will maintain client confidentiality and build a relationship of trust with our client and their family.

    * You will have a willingness to participate and follow training modules which are provided as part of the role.

    * This role requires you to be a driver, therefore a full clean driver’s licence is required. You would also need your own vehicle and hold adequate ‘business use’ insurance.
