How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Procurement Administrator

    Milton Keynes

    6 Month Contract, £12.71 per hour

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join the procurement function of a major international banking and financial services organisation, gaining hands on experience across supplier management, procurement operations, administration, and commercial support.     What You'll Be Doing

    Working within a busy procurement team, you'll provide essential administrative and operational support while gaining exposure to commercial decision making and supplier relationship management.

    Supporting supplier onboarding and maintaining supplier records.
    Assisting with purchase order creation and management.
    Scheduling meetings and coordinating procurement activities.
    Tracking deliveries and helping resolve invoice queries.
    Maintaining procurement databases and internal systems.
    Supporting tendering and quotation processes.
    Conducting basic market and spend analysis.
    Providing administrative support to procurement and supply chain projects.
    Managing diaries, documentation, and team reporting activities.

    What We're Looking For

    We're looking for an organised, professional, and motivated individual who is eager to learn and develop within a corporate environment.

    This role would suit someone looking to gain valuable experience in procurement, administration, supply chain, commercial operations, or financial services. Relevant skills may have been gained through education, work experience, internships, placements, volunteering, or previous office-based roles.

    Ideal skills and qualities include:

    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
    A professional and presentable approach in an office environment.
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
    Exposure to procurement, purchasing, administration, or supply chain activities would be advantageous but is not essential.
