Our client, a renowned player in the rail industry, is looking for a dedicated Rail Site Manager to join their team. This contract position focuses on managing construction activities across stations and depots in the Liverpool and Manchester area. The role has been deemed inside IR35. The role is predominately onsite but may have opportunity to work from home
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain an overall plan of works and liaise with stakeholders to identify any risks or conflict that could impact work
Managing and coordinating site activities in line with project timelines and standards
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental processes and CDM regulations
Collaborating with project stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination
Conducting site inspections and managing site documentation
Providing leadership and support to site personnel and subcontractors and lead stakeholder meetings to review plan
Identifying and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise on site
Monitoring project progress and reporting on performance, milestones and standards
Ensure resources are available including plant, materials and labour.
Job Requirements:
Experience in managing civil engineering projects within the rail sector
Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in managing site documentation and reporting
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of IR35 regulations, as this is an inside IR35 position
