General Operative (Night Shift)

Location: Cheadle, Stockport, Manchester

Start Date: Monday 3rd August 2026

Duration: Until Friday 28th August 2026

Shift Pattern: Nights – 7:00pm to 7:00am

Red Sky Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced General Operative to join a major construction project in Cheadle, Stockport on a night shift basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on a short-term project, overseeing pump operations and supporting the safe and efficient running of the site.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee pump operations throughout the shift.

Monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Support the site team with general operational duties as required.

Maintain a safe working environment and follow all site procedures.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and other site personnel.

Essential Requirements

Valid CSCS Card

Medium Risk Confined Space certification

Previous construction site experience

Reliable, punctual, and able to work 12-hour night shifts

Strong awareness of health and safety procedures

Desirable Qualifications

First Aid at Work qualification

Slinger/Signaller certification
