## SEN Teaching Assistant ā Join a Supportive Primary School in Havering
Fusion Staffing is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Havering from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting children with Autism (ASD), helping them to thrive both academically and socially within the classroom.
## The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism (ASD).
Help children access the curriculum through tailored learning strategies.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Support children with communication, social interaction and independence.
## What We're Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
At least 1 year's experience supporting children with Autism (ASD) in a school or similar educational setting.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, caring and proactive approach.
The right to work in the UK.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
