How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Benefits - Head of an industry specialist Product Management team, both Product Managers and Product Owners, working for a market leading provider of the latest in energy saving BMS, building controls and IoT solutions to help companies transition to Smart Buildings using a SaaS platform focused on HVAC systems and optimising energy efficiency.

    Candidate - You will be already be a Product Lead or Senior Product Manager or alternatively a Product Manager looking outward or a Product Owner looking inward ready for next step up, ideally with an electrical, electronic or software background and experience or a high level of knowledge of HVAC. An excellent understanding of the solutions used in transitioning a building to being Smart using IoT, SaaS, Gateways, Self Service Portals, 5g, LAN, Wi-Fi and BLE / Bluetooth Low Energy Systems would be an advantage. If you have experience working with client environmental self-service platforms where they can access additional data and automate calculations for net zero government low carb emission funding then this would be of great interest.

    The Position

    Cutting edge global provider building control systems seeks a Product Leader to manage an expanding Smart Buildings Product Management solutions team. You will be advising clients on the technical applications of a variety of building management systems that include building controls, software and IoT that help monitor and ultimately reduce the energy consumption and carbon footprint of a building through its HVAC heating and cooling infrastructure.

    Experience Required

    You will be a Product Leader ideally weighted towards Product Owner experience working within the built environment with an in depth understanding of BMS, building management systems, building controls and IoT along with their application to improve the energy efficiency and decrease the carbon footprint of a building via new HVAC systems and energy efficiency management software. An electrical, electronic, mechatronic, IT, computer science or software degree would be beneficial but of course Mechanical Engineering is applicable with further understanding of software product inputs and outputs between client and provider. Although you do not need to be a coder or programmer knowledge of communication protocols such as MQTT is desirable. If you have experience working in an agile and scrum software environment within the HVAC industry then that would be an advantage. If you are a Product Owner handling tactical execution and team backlog management without team management experience then please still apply.
