Our well-established client within the electronics manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a pivotal position responsible for leading the company's quality and compliance function. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and developing management systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the business through internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities as a Quality Manager:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated management systems, in alignment with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards.
Plan and conduct internal audits across the business.
Carry out gap analyses and compliance reviews against relevant standards and regulations.
Manage and maintain all quality assurance processes in accordance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
Prepare for, coordinate, and support external certification and surveillance audits.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
Maintain risk registers, incident logs, and compliance documentation.
Work closely with departments across the business to embed quality and compliance into everyday operations.
Deliver and support employee training initiatives, particularly around information security and quality standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, certification bodies, customers, and regulatory stakeholders.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation. The successful candidate will possess:
Proven experience in a Quality Manager, Compliance Manager, or similar leadership role.
Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following standards: AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.
Experience leading accreditation, certification, or compliance projects.
Previous experience preparing organisations for external audits and managing audit processes.
Strong understanding of quality management systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent organisational, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and influence colleagues at all levels of the business.
Relevant qualifications in Quality, Compliance, Risk Management, or Information Security, such as CQI, Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, or CISMP.
Experience within aerospace, defence, electronics manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries would be highly advantageous.
