Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Hospitality Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Perry Barr, Birmingham, seeking a dedicated and inspiring Hospitality Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role
As a Hospitality Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their knowledge, creativity and employability skills within the hospitality and catering sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality Hospitality and Catering lessons
* Creating engaging and practical learning experiences
* Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
* Promoting high standards of behaviour and achievement
* Maintaining a safe and effective learning environment
* Supporting students to develop both practical and theoretical skills
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have experience teaching Hospitality, Catering or a related subject within a secondary school
* Possess excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* Be passionate about inspiring young people and raising achievement
* Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
* Be a positive and proactive member of the school community
Ideally, the school is looking for an experienced Teacher; however, applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and fully encouraged.
