How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Seeking a public sector procurement professional to support the delivery, training, and adoption of the Atamis platform, helping customers maximise value while providing expert guidance on procurement best practice and PA23

    Client Details

    A leading public sector organisation based in Wakefield going through exciting growth and development.

    Description

    Support customers through the onboarding and implementation of Atamis.
    Deliver engaging, hands-on Atamis training sessions to customers and end users.
    Provide guidance on how procurement processes and tenders are managed within the platform.
    Support customers through go-live activities and ongoing system adoption.
    Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
    Lead customer project meetings and implementation activities.
    Work closely with internal colleagues, including Lesley and the wider team, to identify opportunities for system enhancements and improvements.
    Mentor and support team members where required.
    Collaborate with Category Leads and internal stakeholders to ensure excellent customerProfile

    The successful candidate will bring:

    Strong public sector procurement experience.
    Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23).
    Experience managing tenders, frameworks and quotation exercises from end to end.
    A thorough understanding of the public sector procurement lifecycle.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    Confidence delivering training, workshops and presentations to small groups.
    Strong project management and organisational capabilities.
    The ability to challenge constructively, influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
    Previous experience using Atamis (desirable).
    Experience managing, mentoring or developing team members.

    Job Offer

    Competitive salary between £50,269 and £53,460, dependent on the level of experience. Hybrid working, with 2 days per week onsite in Wakefield. There is an opportunity for some overnight UK travel that is essential for the role
