As part of our expanding Production Team, we are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to contribute to the creation and restoration of exceptional timber products. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about precision craftsmanship and enjoys working with high-quality materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture and restore sash and casement windows and timber doors to high standards.
* Operate and maintain classical woodworking machinery, including:
* Crosscut saws
* Thicknessers
* Planers
* Tenoners
* Spindle moulders
* Mortisers
* 4-sided planers and moulders
* Ensure all products meet Ventrolla’s quality standards and specifications.
* Collaborate with the Production Team to meet project deadlines.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workshop.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, preferably with sash and casement window projects.
* Proficient in using classical woodworking machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into finished products.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
* A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
RATE OF PAY - £17.30 - £19.50 DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
